Stress is bloody good!

The first of June marks the Meteorological start of winter. The winter Solstice is June 21st (the shortest day of the year). It's colder, wet, Wednesday and there's a one on the calendar, so my OCD brain says it's winter today.  Let's get on with winter stress.  Stress gets a bad rap. Generally because we have become a bunch of snowflakes riding unicorns. Should we just keep increasing the planets population with a dis-regard for quality over quantity? I set up a specific health facility with the ethos of "Quality over Quantity". My banter concerning the entire screwed up fitness industry is another blog. (stay tuned for that one. you'll need something to hold onto) People are getting weak because they don't know how to get stressed on time, in control, for a purpose higher than an uncontrolled ego.  You know this, but saying it will reinforce the story. Down the rabbit hole

The creative mind at work. An image that speaks volume to me, and takes me on a daily journey down the rabbit hole. A wise teacher once sent me away to ponder the famous proverb; "There is stillness in movement and movement in stillness". My life has been all about movement. Sport, gym, activity. The realization of how important movement is to me and the focus, almost a meditative state I can achieve with the utter joy in each and every moment. Experiencing success in many sporting arenas from Tennis, basketball, snooker, bodybuilding just to name a few competitive chapters built my passion for moving. Where do you go when you move? There is only this moment. If you can be totally present with yourself in any movement from walking, to running, to climbing, wrestling, weightlifting, or just play, then that focus can be a stillness that creates what you may call the euphoric high that opens communication to a deeper connection with an amazing multi-dimensional body, and ...
